Residential Garage Paint Kits: How much do I need to order to paint my garage with Epoxy floor paint? We sell our epoxy-coat product in two kits, Half Kits and Full Kits. The Half Kit coverage is 250 sq. ft. at 9.7dft. this would be equal to a standard 1 car garage. The Full Kit coverage is 500 sq. ft. at 9.7dft. this would be equal to a standard 2 car garage. So when ordering for STANDARD Garage Floors: 1 car garage would be 1 Half Kit. 2 car garages would be 1 Full Kit. 3 car garages would be 1 Half Kit + 1 Full Kit. 4 car garages would be 2 Full Kits. Remember kits are sold by square footage. So before ordering our epoxy coating you should verify the square footage of the surface that the coating will be applied to. To figure out the square footage: Measure the length of the area that will be coated with a tape measure. Write this down on a piece of paper. Label this measurement "length." Get the width of the area that will be coated. Write this down, and label it "width." Multiply the length by the width. You now have the square footage.
